HiAI is an open-source AI engineering studio site. We collect what you send through contact and Labs waitlist forms, plus technical logs needed to run the site.

1. Information we collect

When you use a form we store:

• Name, email, company, project area, and message on the contact form
• Email on a Labs waitlist or newsletter subscribe
• A consent flag when the form requires it
• Honeypot fields used only to drop spam (those submissions are not treated as real leads)

2. How we use it

We use that data to:

• Store a lead so we can reply about a project
• Optionally email the operator via mail.webs.cool when MAIL_API_KEY is configured
• Keep the site working (rate limits, health checks)

3. Processors in this stack

Named from running code in this repository — not a guessed vendor list:

• Google Tag Manager GTM-TGN4PCF3. Loads only after cookie consent is accepted. Decline leaves gtm.js unloaded.
• Mail proxy at mail.webs.cool. Used when MAIL_API_URL and MAIL_API_KEY are both set. Without the key, leads are stored and no email is sent.
• WhatsApp. User-initiated contact channel from site config. Not a chatbot.
• Telegram. User-initiated contact channel from site config. Not a chatbot.
• SeaweedFS S3 bucket app-hiai. Object storage for media, with static files under apps/web/static as fallback. LIVE_MEDIA_ORIGIN is reserved and unused in code.
• PostgreSQL (leads and seeded documents). Contact and Labs waitlist submissions persist as leads. Articles are seeded and have no public routes.

4. What we do not do

• We do not sell a generic AI workforce product from this site
• We do not run the live webs-frontend support chatbot on this API
• We do not publish seeded articles or notes until a notes section ships
• We do not invent staff names, case-study clients, or a DPO identity here

5. Retention and rights

Leads stay until an operator deletes them. Seed refreshes documents and articles and keeps leads unless SEED_TRUNCATE_LEADS=1. To access, correct, or delete a submission, email hiai@webs.cool.
